How to Make Mini Edible Gingerbread Houses! | Cupcake Jemma


  1. Loving the Peter Pan collar with that sweater! So pretty!

  2. I roll my dough as much as I need to. I've never had an issue with hard dough…

  3. These are the volume measurements:

    1/4 cup of honey/molasses/agave
    3 cups of all purpose flour (don't pack, spoon into measuring cup)
    3/4 cup of brown sugar, lightly packed
    1 stick of butter
    1 tspn baking powder
    1 tspn cinnamon
    2 heaping tspn ginger
    Pinch of salt
    1 large egg

    I also added:
    1/2 tspn cloves
    1/2 tspn nutmeg

    Side note: If you've added all the ingredients and your dough is still a bit too sticky, as in a lot of it is still stuck to the sides of the bowl, I suggest adding a little more flour. It's perfect if the sides of the bowl are mostly clean and you can press down on the dough with your hand without it sticking.
